HiLinq Job Tracker reads the current job page only when the user chooses to interact with the extension.
What the extension stores
HiLinq app URL, extension connection token, and optional autofill profile fields like name, email, phone, city, LinkedIn, and website. These are stored in Chrome extension storage on the user's browser.
What the extension sends to HiLinq
When a user clicks Save job, Mark applied, or Mark interviewing, the extension sends the current job URL, title, detected company, detected location, detected description when available, and the chosen application status to the user's HiLinq account.
What it does not do
It does not auto-submit applications, bypass bot protection, or upload full browsing history in the background.
